REVIEW: This was a great experience! My husband is not a "B and B" fan normally; however, our host was amazing! He gave us a great map for a walking tour of Rome the first day we arrived and was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The room was well-equipped, clean, and perfect for our needs. We will be back!

REVIEW: Perfect location next to subway and Vatican. Accommodations were excellent, secure, and clean. Hostess was very helpful and friendly, providing great directions and recommendations for activities/places to dine. Also, we had an early tour scheduled for the Vatican on the day of our checkout, they secured our luggage and made special arrangements for breakfast. We would recommend this B&B to anyone traveling to Rome. Jim and LeAnn

REVIEW: Fabio was fabulous! He was very generous in answering my many queries, obtain reservations and making me feel comfortable in my new surroundings. Wonderfully located near the Vatican, there is easy access to bus, tram and .metro. My room was so comfortable with a new, good mattress, nice pillows, a lovely tiled bathroom with large shower and air conditioning that was very responsive. Breakfast was good and included yoghurt and cheese. The.server was always pleasant, with a big, welcoming smile. Guests sit at a large table which is conducive to chatting and exchanging ideas. Fabio always greets us as well. I will, and already have, recommend Federici B&B to e everyone thinking of going to Rome. Thank you, Fabio, for making my stay such a pleasant one. Evelyn

REVIEW: I was here on my honeymoon with my wife Samyuktha, and we only spent 2 nights in Rome on our trip around Italy. The staff at Federici was very helpful from the get go. We could see that they were really passionate about Rome and assisted us in finding our way to the meet up points for our tours and all around Rome. The breakfast was great and listening to Fabio talk about something as simple the bread that we had for breakfast and its history made me realise that we were in the right place with people who are passionate about ensuring that their guests are well taken care off. The room was clean and comfortable as well as the common area. The location of Federici was a big plus point too (Near the Metro station and the Vatican). Overall our stay here was really good and during my next trip to Rome I will definitely book Federici again and will not hesitate to recommend it to my friends as well.

REVIEW: Excellent location and Fabio and the staff are very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is excellent and varied. Rooms are well equipped and cleaned daily. Steps from Metro and 10 minutes walk to the Vatican. Fabio gave us lots of suggestions to make full use of our time in Rome....places to visit and restaurants worth trying. Great place and would recommend unreservedly. As an aside, Connie at Italia Lodging was also very helpful and suggested Policarservice to pick us up at the airport. Alessandro was waiting for us on arrival and made us feel welcome on the trip to Rome.

REVIEW: We spend 5 nights in Federici Guest House. Over all we feel very well. Charming room, clean and quiet with inside bathroom. Breakfast ok. Fine tea or coffee, croissants or fresh bread, butter, jam, cheese and salami. Living room for relax. Near to Vaticano and the metro station Ottaviano. We explore 90[[[]]%[]] of the city by walking. Rome is a dream city. Thank you to the owner Fabio for good informations. We will come again to Rome and to the Guesthouse Federici!

REVIEW: The surroundings of the hotel are not so fancy, but if you want to visit the Vatican, this is a privileged location. The owner is very kind (he helped us with explanations to go to Tuscany and even with care for a twisted foot), the room has plenty of space, furniture is nice, breakfast is very good.

REVIEW: The guesthouse was superbly located right near the entrance to Ottaviano station. Although it was right down the road from the Vatican, it was peaceful and very well kept. The rooms were large enough with built in wardrobes and air conditioning. Clean bathrooms decent sized by Italian standards. Fabio helped us with our cases (there is a lift which is always a great thing) and his knowledge of Rome is fantastic. The breakfast room is downstairs and is also lovely with lots of natural light and fresh air. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Rome in the future.

We enjoyed the breakfast offered and would have liked to stay for a longer period as he offered some services such as a walking tour of Rome that sounded very interesting but our time was limited! REVIEW: We had a wonderful 3-day stay at Federici. It's only a few minutes' walk from St. Peter's Square and right across the street from the Ottaviano-San Pietro metro station. We had a lovely large double room with a super-comfortable King-size bed and a private bathroom. The B&B has a large breakfast room / lounge where we had a generous breakfast every morning and where we could hang out when we were tired after the day's explorations in Rome. Fabio, the owner / inn keeper was extremely hospitable and helpful. He made sure we were comfortable and gave us advice on where to find restaurants and stores and which buses to take to get to specific locations. We highly recommend this B&B.

REVIEW: The rooms were clean and spacious. The bathrooms could use a little love from Martha Stewart. Breakfast was absolutely delicious - the bread and coffee were magnificent. Fabio was helpful. He provided information about the Basilica being open after we were told by three different people that it was closed, two of whom were Vatican Museum staff, no less. There were four of us travelling, my hubby on crutches, three year old and father in law. He actually provided a separate room for my Father in law at no extra charge. My only real quibble was that it was cold during the day. Warm at night for sleeping. Most people would probably be out and about during the day anyway so this may not be a problem. The bathrooms were no 'deluxe'. Again, it is a B&B, not the Ritz Cartleton. The location is great, steps from the Metro, banks, shopping, restaurants and a few blocks from the Vatican. The inside of the B&B is pretty.

REVIEW: I loved my stay at Federici for so many reasons. First let me confirm the obvious ones we all look for: Cleanliness, roominess, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, ventilation, closet space, location, atmosphere, and friendliness. From the momenta Fabio answers the intercom, you hear assurance and attentiveness. The moment you walk in your room, you are delighted with the color schemes, the neatness, and the spaciousness. After you settle down for a bit, Fabio invites you to sit, offers you something to drink and then proceeds to make you at home by giving you a map of Rome. As he effortlessly establishes rapport with you, he is able to suggest several itineraries of places to go, sights to see, restaurants to try, all done at your request. His enthusiasm is engaging in such a way that he arms you with confidence and assuredness about the adventures and memories you are going to be a part of. Breakfast every morning is a delight. Each day something different appears, and you eat such a delicious meal that you go off and sightsee for a few hours not once thinking about snacks. The location is ideal because there is a bus stop outside in front as well as a metro station. My first trip to Rome has been a sheer delight and I will never forget. Federici was instrumental in helping me make some incredible, unforgettable memories.

Fabio was very helpful with recommendations in Rome and even for the next part of our trip, to the Maremma coast. He also was very accommodating even though we had a late check-in time, and also was around during the day to receive an emergency express mail package on our behalf. REVIEW: Fabio's bed&breakfast was the perfect location for our 6 day getaway to Rome. It is located extremely convenient right next to the Metro and about a 5-7min walk to the Vatican. Fabio is super nice, provided us with insider tipps to Rome (he frequently asked what route we were taking today to provide us with extra tipps of nice vista spots, cute streets, coffee bars etc) and was always polite, helpful and easy to talk to. The breakfast was easily the best breakfast I have had in any "hotel" since it was all fresh from the baker. Baked goods, jam, honey, butter, coffee and cold cuts were served together with fresh fruit, juice and water. Our room was quiet and had a good size. Only downside (if you want to find one) was that you could hear other people walk by your room in the hallway because of the somewhat squeeky wood-floor and the internet was not the most stable (but hey, it was free and you could always sit down in the front across from Fabio to get your news etc and have a quick chat with the owner). If you're lucky enough, you even get iced-coffee with your chat. The restaurants Fabio provided were really good as well, and we felt quite "at home". We would come back anytime.

Accommodation was very comfortable and Fabio was most helpful and speaks very good English. Would highly recommend taking advantage of the car to the airport organized by Fabio for 50 Euros. After 6 days walking all over Rome, it was nice to be driven to the airport in comfort rather than navigating the Metro and Rail systems and walking miles at the airport in order to check in. Well worth the 50 Euros!

REVIEW: Good location, great to have someone on site for information and recommendation. Don't stay if you want boutique but DO STAY if you want a good place to stay at a reasonable price with some character. I would have given it 10/10 if the wi-fi had worked in our room. It was a bit of a faff to have to go into the corridor of the apartment to use it. Maybe consider some booster?

REVIEW: Very good situated B&B ( close to St.Peter`s and Metro in front of the door ). Big rooms ( very quiet ) with bathroom and TV - only italian :( and free WLAN :))) - works good. Good breakfast at 8.30. Very helpful and kindly owner and staff. With the check in you get a map from Rome and a very good description where to go. Good price ! Thanks again for the nice days in Rome.

REVIEW: Fabio is fabulous! The amenities and furnishings of the Federici are simple and unrefined. It reminded me a bit of staying in a youth hostel. I found it comfortable and adequate. The best aspect about the Federici is the location. It's right around the corner from the Vatican and the neighborhood is vibrant and full of great places to shop and eat. What stands out for me most during my stay at Federici is that I was ill after returning from a cruise. Fabio went to the pharmacy for me, brought me back a wonderful homeopathic product to ease my symptoms and then came back later with another product to assist me in recovering. Because of his generous and kind care I was able to get out on my last day to enjoy the beauty of the neighborhood and Rome. Thank you, Fabio, I am forever grateful and hope to return! Ciao

REVIEW: Location, Location, Location and Fabio, Fabio, Fabio. How easy it was to walk out of the iron gate of the B&B and immediately down the stairway to the Metro. On another day a 5-10 min walk to the Vatican or its Museum. Fabio's recommended restaurants were delightful. He was so accomodating for our every wish. My only caution is that the Yellow bedroom did not have air conditioning, which was a surprise, so check on your confirmation if that is important to you. Fabio provided an oscillating fan to supplement the ceiling fan and all was well. Should I be so fortunate to return again to Rome, I will definitely inquire here. Ciao.

REVIEW: The Federici is a great place to stay when visiting Rome. Coveniently located right next to the metro stop--you can get just about anywhere. The host--Fabio--is charming and very helpful. His recommendations and advice were always jsut right. I had a bit of a bug when I was there and my friends legs swoll up, but Fabbio went the extra mile--taking us to the Pharmacy, getting us everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Amy is wonderful, too, she keeps everything spic and span and works hard to make you feel welcome and comfortable and does her best to speak English. It was particulary warm in Rome, so we especially appreciated the fans in our room and you can shutter the room and make it nice and quiet. The breakfast room is nice and good food. Overall, I'd highly recommend Federici for a good value, welcomng atmosphere and convenience. Id stay here again on a visit to Rome.

REVIEW: We will return to Federici & recommend it. The location is perfect to see the sights on foot. We walked to all the famours sights. It is hidden in a courtyard just the way other guests described. Five metres from Metro steps; inside a locked high gate; safe and quiet inside a courtyard. We slept very well. Fabio was cheerful, easy going, lively and still very professional. He gave us good advise on where to find good local Pizza place & excellent dinner restaurant with 3-courses for Euro 25 which all tasted great. We also say 'thanks' to Italia Lodging. They arranged a taxi lady to meet us [[[]]family of 4 []] at rome Airport arrivals hall, to drive direct to Federici's for euro 52. That is well worth it. You start your vist to Rome without any hassles. this way costs less that buses & city taxis ; You also avoid the metro where people with travel bags are targets for pick pockets.

REVIEW: I have no complaints! Very friendly and helpful host and staff, well-maintained and cozy (hotel-like) rooms, convenient location - walking distance from Vatican City and the metro train is directly at the front of the B&B entrance. There's elevator if you're lazy to walk up the stairs. There's also a lovely breakfast included and it's served at a shared dining table with other guests, which gives you a chance to interact with everyone. I could stay here again!

REVIEW: Don't be misguided by the street front gate, what is inside is what really counts and the Fedirici Hotel is one of the best places we've stayed at in Europe. A terrific find in the heart of Rome, right next to the Vatican City and Metro station. The owner couldn't have been more helpful with our every enquiry and he added great value to our stay in Rome. Rooms are clean and well serviced with a super friendly house lady. Excellent value, would definately recommend it and would stay there again if ever in Rome.

REVIEW: Perfect location! Fabio and his Mother were fantastic hosts. attention to detail and very accommodating. Loved the breakfast and the opportunity to chat with the other guests. 6 minute walk to Vatican, 6 second walk to Ottaviano Metro. Outside of building was a little sketchy - we weren't sure we were at the right place. don't judge a book by its cover - Federici B&B was excellent. Would stay there again in a heart beat. Mille Grazie Fabio e Mamma! Jeff.

REVIEW: Federici is very good B&B in Rome situated in 2 blocks near Vatican and metro line. We had a room for 2 (shared bed) with toilet and shower. Room was very clean and nice, windows were oriented to small yard, so it was quiet. Massimo (the owner) is very polite and responsive. He gave us map and drawed few popular routes around the city. Also recommended few great places to eat. We travelled around Italy and it was our best apartment! Owner met us in time and gave all needed keys and instructions. Also there was very good breakfast (compared to other Italian hotels). Don't think to get this B&B, just get it and you will be in safe, clean and quiet place near Vatican. Thank you, Massimo, and greetings from Ukraine! Nikolai

REVIEW: We recommend Federici to all. It is situated just outside the metro which will bring you to the primary attractions in Rome, and is just a quick walk from the Vatican and St Peter. Rooms are decent, and the breakfast is the standard italian - I have always wondered how italians find croissants, cakes and jam a nice start to the day? But what is most extraordinary is the service. The owner, Fabio, knows the city well - has a very good english pronunciation, and gives good tips on where to go and what to do. Brilliant service and great hospitality!
